We are currently hiring a Cold Store/ Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our leading Seafood client, based in Aberdeen.

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking associates to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in warehouse and dispatch operations, ensuring the efficient handling of seafood materials and contributing to the overall success of our shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and teamwork, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various warehouse duties.

Duties
- Perform heavy lifting and assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries.
- Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Operate forklifts safely to move products around the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to build pallets and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues when necessary.

This role includes -

• Picking Seafood Products for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading
• Shrink wrapping
• General warehouse duties

Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.

We are currently looking for Operatives to work- Monday-Friday.
