We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Fine Dining Front of House Server, for our clients team, at their stunning hotel, located in Perthshire.

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate fine dining server to join our clients prestigious restaurant team in Perthshire. If you have a background in rosette or Michelin-starred establishments, a love for exceptional food, and a strong understanding of wines, cocktails, and coffee, we want to hear from you!

As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive prompt and friendly service while enjoying their meals. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding front-of-house service in a fine dining setting
  • Ensure a seamless dining experience for guests, delivering impeccable service at all times
  • Knowledgeably present and serve the menu, offering expert recommendations
  • Assist with wine pairings, cocktails, and coffee service, showcasing your extensive knowledge
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer care
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
  • Provide recommendations for menu items, including upselling specials and promotions.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a fine dining environment, ideally in Michelin-starred or rosette establishments
  • A true food enthusiast with a passion for high-quality cuisine
  • In-depth knowledge of wines, cocktails, and coffee, with barista experience highly desired
  • WSET Level 2 (or similar wine qualification) is an advantage
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential.
  • Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere.

Hours & Benefits:

  • Full-time position
  • Varied working hours, including early, late, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Accommodation available at £40 per week (if required)
