We are seeking motivated and reliable Production Operatives to join our clients team, a global leader in Shellfish Processing, based in Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire.

The successful candidates will be responsible for various tasks in the shellfish processing line, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes.

There are two shift patterns available for candidates, and transport can be provided from Peterhead.

Shift Patterns-

Dayshift - 6am-3pm

Evening shift- 3pm - midnight

Typical Working Week Monday – Saturday

Hours are guaranteed and overtime hours can be made available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, clean, and prepare shellfish for processing.
• Operate processing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the production process to ensure quality standards are met.

Quality Control:

• Inspect shellfish and finished products for defects and report any issues.
• Ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards.

Packing and Packaging:

• Pack processed shellfish into containers for distribution.
• Label and date packages accurately

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required as training will be provided.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment.
