Production Operative .
Highlands | £11.44 - £13.50/per hour
We are currently seeking dedicated Production Operatives on behalf of our client, a family-run meat processing business located in Bonar Bridge.
The successful candidates will play a crucial role in the production process.
Transport/Car Share can be provided for candidates on the following routes-
Route 1 = Dingwall, Scotsburn, Evanton, Alness, Invergordon & Tain + anywhere along this route.
Route 2 = Dornoch to Bonar Bridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Some Knife Skills: Further training will be offered.
- Trimming Meat Products
- Equipment Operation: Confidently use knives and additional cutting equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Cold Environment: Comfortably work in a cold environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper attire for the conditions.
- Full-Time Hours: Work full-time hours, 5 to 6 days a week, with shifts running from 6 am to 3:30 pm or 7 am to 4:30 pm.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Requirements:
- Comfortable in Cold Environments: Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
- Previous experience working in a Food Processing/Production environment.
- Availability: Full-time availability during the seasonal period.
- Transportation: Ideally, candidates should have their own transportation due to the remote location of the facility, however the option of car sharing is available.
